Reaching out to the greater community

Members of the Protestant Christian Chaplaincy make a continuing effort to reach out to the greater community of Wellesley, Boston, and the United States. We have taken a collection for "T" tokens for the City Mission Society. At Christmas, we bought gifts to donate to the City Mission Society. We went Christmas caroling in a nearby Wellesley neighborhood. We also took a group on an alternative Spring Break trip to Newburgh, NY to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. The students involved were truly blessed by their days of service! We try always to reach out to other students at Wellesley, by having friendly faces at worship service and holding events that all students can attend.

This year, we are planning collaborative service projects with the MIT Protestant Community. We plan to go to the Boson Food Bank and local area shelters. Please contact Terri Cisse for more information.
