Our
group is dedicated to serving the religious needs of Unitarian
Universalists and others on campus who are searching for
personal wholeness or find themselves in a time of personal
transition or religious questioning.
We are part of an intentionally diverse and inclusive faith
tradition which honors freedom, reason, and tolerance in
order to engage life's depths and help create transformative
communities of hope and love. We support one another in
our personal spiritual journeys which are more than just
intellectual exercise. Although we may not share creeds
or doctrines, we share strong unifying values.
Our
activities include worship services, guest speakers, social
events, discussions, faith in action projects, and an annual
retrat to the Peace Abbey in Sherborn, MA.
For
upcoming activities, please check the "UU Conference"
on CWIS or phone the Chaplain's office (x3484) to request
the e-mail newsletter. You are welcome whatever your spiritual
path, ethnic background, or sexual orientation. You need
not be Unitarian Universalist to attend.
Worship
Services are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM in Houghton
Chapel's "Little Chapel" during the 2006-07 Academic
year.
