Cazenove Hall was built in 1905, named in honor of the family of Mrs. Pauline Durant. The Durants would not allow any buildings to be named in their honor. Cazenove was Mrs. Durant's mother's maiden name, and as close as the College ever got to memorializing a building to our founders. Part of the Hazard Quad (or the Quint), Caz, as it is fondly called, is a mirror image of Pomeroy, which is linked together on floors 2-4. It does not have a dining hall, so many residents eat at the nearby Pomeroy kosher vegetarian dining hall or the Wang Campus Center.
