Free Passes to Boston Museum of Science
The Dean of the College has agreed to
purchase a Supporting Membership in the Boston Museum of
Science
for this academic year; this provides 100 free admissions for
Wellesley students, faculty and staff. The membership is
the
result of an initiative begun by Emily Mason '92 and Emily
Marciniak '95 (former officers of the Wellesley Society
of Physics Students)
and by Glenn Stark, their faculty advisor. The passes do not
include the separate admission to the Omni Theatre, but
still
represent a savings over the regular student admission price.
The Science Museum is at the 'Science Park' T-stop on the
Green
Line.
Passes may be obtained from Pat Paul
at the Science Center Focus Area (8:00-4:00 on weekdays). In
order to document the interest in this opportunity, we will
be recording the names of those who obtain the passes. They
are available only to the Wellesley College community, on
a
first-come, first-serve basis. An individual may request only
one pass at a time.
