No food/drink is permitted in laboratory spaces and public clusters.
There is NO SMOKING in any of College's Buildings.
Children under sixteen years are not allowed in laboratories. Children of staff members are allowed in their parent’s office if accompanied by that parent.
Safety goggles/glasses are required in posted areas and are available in the Stockroom.
Accidents or sickness should be reported to Campus Police ext. 5555 and the Science Center Office Ext.3000.
Shoes must be worn in the building. Inline skates or scooters are not permitted. Bicycles should be left outside in the racks provided.
No Dogs, with the exception of service dogs, are permitted in the building.
Please report any "suspicious looking" person to the Science Center Office, Ext. 3000/3075.
Fire Alarms: If a fire alarm sounds, proceed immediately to the nearest emergency exit, descend the stairs, exit at the bottom, and move away from the Science Center. Familiarize yourself with an alternate route should the first be blocked. Above all KEEP CALM. DO NOT use the elevators. Power may fail and you may be caught between floors. Re-enter the building only when the Wellesley Fire Department gives the "all clear". Note: Either an instructor or a "buddy" should escort the physically challenged to the nearest Fire Exit. If in need of assistance, she should remain at the stairwell while the "buddy" gets assistance from a fire fighter.
PLEASE SAVE ENERGY BY TURNING DOWN FAN COIL UNITS AND TURNING OFF ALL UNNECESSARY LIGHTS WHEN NOT NEEDED. THANK YOU. |
