Hoop Rolling
Hoop Rolling is the oldest tradition at Wellesley College, originally started as a part of May Day festivities. The event traditionally occurs one of the last weekends of Spring semester, early on a Saturday morning. The night before, Senior’s little sisters will camp out to save them a place in the front of the line. The following morning, Seniors race down Tupelo Lane and the President of the College identifies the winner (who is then thrown in Lake Waban by her peers).
