College Summer School 2009
For 125 years Wellesley College has been providing
undergraduates with one of the finest liberal arts educations in
the world. In
2009, Wellesley College Summer School will once again open its doors
for the tenth year, and you have the opportunity to become a part
of a distinguished tradition of engaged learning and vibrant community.
Our Summer School is a co-educational program,
featuring full credit courses drawn from the regular Wellesley curriculum. It is open
to all college students, college graduates as well as eligible commuting
high school juniors and seniors. Wellesley College Summer School
combines academic excellence with a spectacular campus, state-of-the-art
facilities and a convenient location close to Boston.

Christine Rogers , Visiting Lecturer in Art
Artistic production through electronic imaging, manipulation, and design. Emphasis is on expression, continuity and sequential structuring of visuals through the integration of image, type, and graphics. Handson production techniques of image capturing, lighting and processing are explored in conjunction with print and screen output methods. Lectures and screenings of historic and contemporary uses of technology provide a background and context for the coursework. Prerequisite: ARTS 108 or by permission of instructor.
