Andrew Warren, Visiting Instructor of
Art
This class is centered on photography as a means of visual communication. Emphasis
is placed on basic techniques of 35mm SLR and black and white darkroom
operation in tandem with critical analysis of photographs. Assignments
are based on technical and aesthetic issues of image-making. Students
will be required to purchase a modest amount of photographic supplies
and additional out-of-class time in the lab will be required to successfully
complete the course.

Andrew M. K. Warren received his MFA and BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and has served as the Associate Director of Visual Arts at the Boston Latin School. Currently, he is a Visiting Instructor at both the University of New Hampshire and Wellesley College. Warren’s photographic and video work has been exhibited at diverse venues such as Art Interactive, The Gallery @ Green Street, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, and various film festivals and theaters.
