Transportation & Parking

The Summer School provides a shuttle service between the campus and local shopping and entertainment facilities. The campus is also walking distance from the commuter rail station in Wellesley Square.  Limited on-campus parking will be available to Summer School students.  Students who are bringing a vehicle to campus for the first time will need to go to Campus Police to register their vehicle. There is no fee for parking.

Grades & Academic Credit

Grades

Summer School courses are taken on a letter grade basis (A-D,F), unless otherwise indicated in the course listing.  Space permitting, the Summer School does allow auditors in certain courses.

Grades will be available online roughly 3 weeks after the end of classes. Students may view grades by logging onto Banner using their student ID number and pin. Wellesley College Summer School transcripts will be available upon request from the Wellesley College Registrar’s Office.  Please call 781-283-2307 for assistance.

Academic Credit

Wellesley College Summer School courses carry full academic course credit.  The four-week summer term is more intensive than the regular year semester schedule, but in terms of course material covered, course assignments, class time and laboratory time, the Summer School courses are equivalent to Wellesley College courses offered during the regular year.  Becuase the term is intensive in nature, it is not adviseable for students who are uncomfortable covering large amounts of material in a short amount of time to sign up for Summer Session. For those who wish to transfer credits from Wellesley, please consult in advance with the Registrar of your college or university.
