The purpose of this Union is to improve and maintain at a high level, the economic welfare of all its members and to promote social, educational and community activities among its membership and in the community at large to the kind that the members and the public may gain a better understanding and appreciation of the process of collective bargaining as properly conducted in a free democratic economy.
