Welcome to the Friends of Horticulture
Wellesley College's dedication of 22 acres to the study of botany began an 80-year
tradition of providing firsthand experience in horticulture that continues today through
the Alexandra Botanic Garden, Hunnewell Arboretum, Margaret C. Ferguson Greenhouses and
Visitor Center, collectively known as the Wellesley College Botanic Gardens.
In support of the Wellesley College Botanic Gardens, the Friends of Horticulture was founded in 1983 by Wellesley College alumnae and other interested individuals.
