SOCIAL LIFE AT WELLESLEY
The social life at Wellesley can be oh so great
Partying in Boston 'til it gets real late
Or you can be really wild and silly
With all of your friends Thursday night at the Filly
Or at the Boathouse Bar
Helps if you have a car
Then eat in Chinatown which is not that far

We have a lot of formals that are sure to please
We go to lots of parties at societies
At the Head of the Charles we all
Go down to the river, have us a ball
The Gala's oh so chic
We think of it for weeks
And for the perfect date
We always try to seek

Thursday night at Schneider we have real great bands
We gather with our friends to dance and clap our hands
And even though Wellesley's a dry town
We drink with our friends and party down
And when the weekend's done
There's much more fun to come
'Cause we know that for us
Wellesley is the only one.

I don't do nerds
I don't do geeks
I don't do stuck-up Harvard freaks
Don't matter if they beg on their knees

Calculators, high-water pants
Horn-rimmed glasses--he can't dance!
He can't relate, let's all just face it
Unless you are fluent in BASIC
Oh my gosh he's looking at me
He must be from MIT.

Briefcase, tux, daddy's bucks
They come to Wellesley looking for ____!
Intellectuals they are not
Why do they think they are so hot?
Big trust fund, plaid cumberbund
You know it's Harvard they come from.

This fiesta's a pick-up scene
But that is all it's ever been
In this party we are stuck
Shallow intro's, flirting--YUCK!
Lively conversations over tea
Let's all leave, Cafe Hoop's for me!
