Since 1983 the Women's Review of Books has provided a unique forum for serious, informed discussion of new writing by and about women. The publication’s increasing debt forced the Wellesley Centers for Women to suspend publication with the December 2004 issue. We are proud to announce that after months of planning and negotiation, the Women’s Review of Books will be re-launched next January in collaboration with Old City Publishing of Philadelphia. More details will be shared in the fall/winter edition of Research & Action Report and on this website.
Once again, the Women’s Review of Books will provide a unique perspective on today’s literary landscape and feature essays and in-depth reviews of new books by and about women.
- New look
- New bimonthly schedule
- New publisher-partner
- Same quality writing that you’ve come to trust
