Beijing Conference

Wellesley College & Peking University are proud to present a one-day conference, Women’s Leadership: Making a Difference in the World.

The conference will be held on June 15, 2013, in Peking University’s Sunlight Hall in the Yingjie Exchange Center, Beijing, China.

Featuring prominent women leaders from both countries, the conference will include personal stories of leadership and examine the path to leadership for women. It will culminate in a dinner at the historic Diaoyutai State Guesthouse with a keynote address by Madame Chen Zhili of the National People's Congress of China, and entertainment by award-winning composer Tan Dun.

By invitation only, we expect the Conference’s audience of 350 will include prominent women from Beijing, as well as leading alumnae of Wellesley College and Peking University. Together, we will explore the value and potential of women’s leadership—and commit to cultivating the next generation of women leaders.
