JEWETT ARTS CENTER
Jewett Arts Center, with Pendleton West, houses the Music Department, Music Library, Art History, Studio Art, and Art Library. Practice spaces with pianos, performance spaces, art studios, a dark room, and several other art spaces are available for students to use throughout the day and for a good part of the night every day of the week. Jewett is also equipped with a sound imaging lab and high tech equipment for presenting with computers, sound, slides, or video. Hundreds of images for courses have been digitized and are presented across the network. The Jewett Arts Center Gallery, the Jewett Corridor Gallery, and Sculpture Court Gallery are three spaces primarily devoted to the exhibition of student work. In addition, work by faculty and off-campus artists are frequently on exhibit.
