Tours, Info Sessions, Overnights, Class & Lunch Visits

We hope to see you on campus!

Campus Tours

Student-guided campus tours are available to all visitors* on a walk-in basis. They generally last one hour, and our tours depart on time so plan to arrive early! There is no reservation process, but we strongly encourage you to complete the electronic Contact Card in advance - you'll check in faster and get helpful parking directions sent via email. We also suggest that you call ahead of time to make sure tours are available on the day you plan to visit.

*Note: groups of 10 or more visitors require a reservation. Please complete the Special Group Visit Request Form at least 3 weeks in advance of your visit.

Campus Tour Schedule
Most weekdays departing promptly at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Campus tours last one hour. The Admission Office is open most Saturdays in the fall (the Saturday after Labor Day through mid December) and some Saturdays in April. The Office is closed on Saturdays in January, February, March, June, July, and August. See the Admission Calendar for tour availability on a particular date. There are no tours when the Admission Office is closed. During exam periods and breaks, tours depend on student availability. 

Information Sessions

Admission staff members will share with you important information about Wellesley in scheduled information sessions in April, June, July, August, and October (see calendar), which generally last one hour. There is no reservation process for individuals and families, but we strongly encourage you to complete the electronic Contact Card in advance of your trip. Plan to arrive at the Office of Admission about 10 minutes before the session begins. Groups of 12 or more require advance reservation.

Information Session Schedule: 
Monday – Friday (April, June, July, August, October) at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Please see the Admission Calendar.

Have Lunch with a Current Student

We invite you to have lunch in a dining hall in a residence hall with a current Wellesley student and enjoy informal conversation with her. It's a great way to learn more about Wellesley. Lunch visits are available to seniors in the fall and juniors and seniors in the spring. Students should call the Admission Office at 781.283.2270 to schedule.  Two weeks' notice is preferred.

Lunch Ambassador Schedule: 
Monday-Friday (late September – early December) from 12:30 p.m. -1:30 p.m.

Attend a Class

Most professors open their classes to high school seniors in the fall and juniors and seniors in the spring.  To attend a class, you must do so through the Admission Office, where you can view the selection of available classes and reserve your seat.  (The class schedule on the Registrar's page does not take into account exams, field trips, and other anomalies, as well as professors who are unable to accommodate visitors.)  Please arrive at the Admission Office 30 minutes before the start of your class period. This will allow time for you to choose your class, walk to the building, and meet the professor before the start of class. See Admission Calendar for class times. We strongly encourage you to complete the electronic Contact Card in advanceof your trip.

Class Visit Schedule: 
At most times throughout the academic year. Refer to the Admission Calendar for exact days and times.

Stay Overnight with a Current Student

To thoroughly experience Wellesley’s residential life, high school seniors are welcome to make a reservation to spend the night at a Wellesley residence hall, hosted by a Wellesley student. Please call the Admission Office at 781.283.2270 two weeks in advance to schedule an overnight visit. 

Overnight Ambassador Schedule: 
Monday-Thursday, (late September  – mid November)

Special Group Visits

For counselors who would like to bring a group of students from their school or program, we offer special tours and information sessions. Please complete the Special Group Visit Request Form at least three weeks before your requested visit date and we'll make arrangements to accommodate your group. Should you require immediate assistance, please call the Admission Office at 781.283.2270.

Davis Parking Facility

Attending a special program hosted by the Admission Office? Please park in the Davis Parking Facility (shown). The Admission Parking Lot next to Dower Hall is for our daily visitors to the Admission Office/Weaver House.
