In the summer of 2014, Chloe worked in Boston for The Ally Coalition, an organization founded by the band Fun. to raise funds and awareness for LGBTQ equality and to engage fans and artists in activism. Chloe spent the spring of 2014 studying in Córdoba, Spain, where she lived with a host family and volunteered teaching English with Andalucía Acoge, a pro-immigrant NGO. She traveled to Sabana Grande, Nicaragua last winter to complete an engineering fieldwork course in which she and four other students delivered and presented projects including a water bottle lamp, bicycle blender, and bio-digester, and explored renewable energy and community development. On campus, Chloe is a TA with the Writing Program. Chloe’s goal upon graduation is to work with young people through a nonprofit organization.
