Mariajose Rodriguez-Pliego
Mariajose is an English and Economics double major.

In the summer of 2014 Mariajose conducted research with two Wellesley Economics professors to investigate the link between the use of fertility treatments and cognitive disabilities in children. She enjoys translating documents for the NGOs International Indigenous Women's Forum and Sociedad Mexicana Pro Derechos de la Mujer, AC. Mariajose is the Opinions Editor for The Wellesley News and works as a writing tutor and a statistics tutor. She is fluent in spanish and has working knowledge of German and Portuguese. Next summer, Mariajose wants to conduct research on development economics abroad.
