Nikita Saladi
Nikita is a junior double-majoring in Neuroscience and Women’s and Gender Studies with a concentration in Health, Science, and Bioethics.

During the summer of 2014, Nikita worked with the Family Case Management program at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Chicago, IL. As an intern, Nikita developed connections between program managers and medical providers in order to ensure high-risk mothers received necessary prenatal care. On campus, Nikita works on investigating the role of primary care physicians in preventing adolescent depression through the CATCH-IT program at the Wellesley Centers for Women. She is also a core organizer for Fossil Free Wellesley, a group working towards divesting Wellesley’s endowment from fossil fuels. After graduation, Nikita plans to pursue a joint MD-MPH degree. She hopes to work as a physician focusing on reducing health disparities affecting women in low-income communities.
