Las Vegas |
2006
February 26 - March 1

An educational trip
to Las Vegas to view art? Absolutely! Glitz and
fantasy have long attracted visitors to Las Vegas,
but now important art, imaginative architecture,
and gourmet food prove equally compelling.
Visionary
entrepreneur and art collector Steve Wynn changed
the ethos of the city with his $1.6 billion Bellagio
Hotel. With other hotels following his lead,
Las Vegas has become one of the newest and most
unforgettable cultural destinations in the country.
A Guggenheim Museum calls the Venetian Hotel
home, the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art host's
prestigious shows and Steve Wynn has kept his
ever-growing collection on view at Wynn Resort,
his newest property and project.
Meetings and discussions with
local experts and art historians will help us
understand the art scene and how Las Vegas has
once again been re-defined. |
