Family Activities
During reunion, the Alumnae Association will host a number of free programs you can enjoy with your family. Join us for a weekend of fun!
Children's Putting & Tennis Clinics sponsored by PERA
These events are available at no additional charge to children registered to attend reunion. A parent must be present to both drop off and pick up all children, regardless of age, from clinics. Parental supervision is not required at the tennis clinic, but is required at the golf clinic.
Children's Putting Clinic
Saturday 9:00 - 10:30 AM
Golf Coach Sherry Makerney will lead a golf putting clinic for ages 7-17. Participants must be pre-registered; limit 12. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to start. Equipment provided. Nehoiden Golf House is located directly across from the College Club on #6 fairway at the east entrance of campus. Parking lot located on Route 16. Parental supervision is required. In case of rain, the golf clinic will be canceled. Please register here.
Children's Tennis Clinic
Saturday 10:30 AM - 12:00 noon
Outdoor Tennis Courts, West of Keohane Sports Center (Indoors KSC if raining)
Head Tennis Coach Brian Kuscher will hold a tennis clinic and game experience for children ages 6-15. The players will gain the basic skills needed to hit serves, forehands and backhands. It will culminate with game and point play at the end. Attendance is limited to the first 25 signups. Participants must bring their own racquet. Parental supervision is not required. Don't Miss Your Chance to Meet Former Astronaut, Pamela Melroy '83
Saturday 10 AM - 12:00 PM
Reunion 2013 will feature a special event hosted by the Science Center and Pamela Melroy '83, Deputy Director, Tactical Technology Office at DARPA and Wellesley Trustee, on Saturday morning. Pamela Melroy is a retired United States Air Force officer and former NASA astronaut. The program will feature family-friendly science stations and a lecture titled, "Going Boldly: The Future of Human Space Flight."
Think Green - Check out the Greenhouse
Saturday 9 AM - Noon
Children of all ages are invited to explore the wonders of the greenhouses and enjoy creative hands-on activities. There is no fee, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Paddle on Over
Saturday 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Sunday 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Join members of the Physical Education, Recreation and Athletics (PERA) Department for recreational canoeing, kayaking, sailing, and pedal boats on Lake Waban. Children are welcome, but please provide your own child-sized personal flotation device. For those classes who would like to have a reunion row, gather your teammates and meet at the boathouse.
Join us for a Rockin' Good Time
Saturday 10:30 AM - Noon
Drop in any time and come explore Wellesley's new rock climbing wall. Ages 8 and up. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Come be Creative
Friday 1 - 7 PM

Bring home a handmade reunion memento from our Arts & Crafts Room. There is no fee, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Splish Splash We're Having a Bash
Friday 3 - 5 PM

Sunday 7 - 9:30 AM
Take a dip in the Chandler Pool. Children will have a blast splashing around! Lifeguards will be on duty at the swimming pool during the times listed above. Swimmers must bring their own suits and towels. This is a competitive pool, not recreational, and so it is not appropriate/safe for children under 5 years of age.
Come Listen to a Story
Saturday 9 - 10 AM
Children and adults alike are invited to come and listen to Story Time. There is no fee, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Let the Games Begin - Children's Field Day
Saturday 12 - 2 PM
The whole family is welcome to participate in a mini field day, including races, obstacle courses, and other games! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Pizza Party and Movie
Saturday 6 - 10 PM
Children 6 years and older can enjoy a night at the movies. $25 per child fee includes a pizza party and age-appropriate movies. Advance registration is required, and all children must be signed in and out of the pizza party by an adult.
