Reunion Giving
Reunions offer a chance to reconnect with classmates, friends, and faculty—and to recognize the value of a Wellesley education. Celebrate your reunion (and love for Wellesley) with a gift to The Wellesley Fund.
Class-based fundraising is an important, time-honored tradition. Every year, Wellesley Fund staff members work with volunteers from the classes celebrating milestone reunions (10th, 25th, 40th, 50th) and other quinquennial reunions to plan and organize special fund-raising campaigns.
Each reunion class strives to make the largest collective gift to the College possible, with the highest level of participation. This goal is only achievable if every member of the class participates—including you.
Your participation makes a difference.
Reunion giving supports every aspect of the College’s day-to-day operations, from scholarships and financial aid, to new technology and campus preservation. Moreover, a gift of any amount boosts our alumnae participation rate—which impacts Wellesley’s ability to obtain corporate and foundation grants.
While levels of support vary from class to class, fundraising volunteers will likely ask you for a “stretch” gift. Many Wellesley alumnae choose reunion as a time to increase their support and join the Durant Society, our special giving society that honors donors who make gifts of $2,500 or more.
Durant Society membership levels:
President's Circle Benefactor: $25,000+
President's Circle Member: $10,000–$24,999
Dean’s Circle Member: $5,000–$9,999
Member: $2,500–$4,999
Recent Graduates
6–10 years after graduation: $1,000
1–5 years after graduation: $500
Every gift, regardless of size, is vital to Wellesley. If you are unable to make a gift at the Durant Society level, we still encourage you to participate in reunion giving. Every gift truly does make a difference in the lives of today’s students andfaculty. Thank you for your loyalty and support!
