About Us

The Friends of the Library organization promotes and celebrates the centrality of the library and the ways in which the library’s resources and services contribute to the academic excellence of Wellesley College. Through programs, publications, products and innovative uses of technology, the Friends forge lasting connections with members of the Wellesley community—students, faculty, staff, alumnae, parents—and with members of the broader intellectual community—visiting scholars, neighbors, and those who love libraries. This community of friends directly supports and enhances the library’s resources and programs, through memberships, financial contributions, and participation in Friends activities.
