Art History Club

The Art History Club facilitates communication between faculty and students, plans arts activities off-campus and virtually, and offers opportunities for students to connect with their peers in the department. Activities include internship panels, talks by alumnae and distinguished scholars in the field, special talks by faculty, visits to exhibitions, and more. Art Club

The Art Club is an independent organization of Wellesley College students who are interested in art and building on their artistic skills in a stress-free environment.  All Wellesley College students are welcome to participate in any and all club activities. The Art Club is a place for students to learn more about art and to explore their own personal growth as creative individuals.

Architecture & Design Club

The Architecture & Design Club is an independent organization of Wellesley College art and architecture students. Our mission is to be a resource for potential and current students of design. We seek to provide advice and inspiration for those interested in architecture and related fields and to facilitate networking and the spread of design ideas among students, alumnae, and professionals. Annual events include a panel on architecture study and professional opportunities, information sessions on graduate school programs in design, portfolio reviews, student-led skill shares for architecture and drafting techniques, and urban sketching trips.

Davis Museum Student Advisory Committee

The Davis Museum Student Advisory Committee (DMSAC) is a diverse group of students dedicated to the promotion of the Davis Museum and its many interdisciplinary resources. As an organization, our mission is to encourage campus-wide involvement with the arts and the Davis Museum. Through our programming, we aim to engage students from all majors with the Davis’ exciting temporary exhibitions and vast permanent collection, inviting them to our semester gallery talks, lectures, and ever so popular, “Davis After Dark.”

Phocus Photography Club

Phocus is a photography club run by Wellesley College students who are dedicated to learning, practicing, teaching and exhibiting photographic art. The club is open to both amateur and advanced student photographers and aims to create opportunities for the Wellesley community to engage with and appreciate photography on and off campus. Phocus organizes student photography events and exhibitions, workshops and tutorials, group outings and activities, and provides members with access to equipment and facilities for photography.
