WELLESLEY PLACES SECOND AT WILLIAMS INVITATIONAL
WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. – Wellesley’s
Susan Choi (Valley Stream, N.Y.) and Jennifer Jenq (Saratoga, Calif.)
tied for fourth-place to lead Wellesley to a second place finish
at the Williams’ Columbus Day Tournament. Choi and Jenq
each shot an 11-over-par 82 on the Par-71 Taconic Golf Course in
Williamstown, Sunday.
Wellesley finished 16 strokes off first-place Middlebury College
with a team score 333. Middlebury scored 317 for first, while Holy
Cross placed third with a 372 and Williams placed fourth with a
388. Middlebury’s Tori McNeil placed first overall with a
four-over par 76.
Victoria Lyo (San Francisco, Calif.) shot an 84 in the tournament,
while Katherine Moyer (New Hope, Pa.) shot an 86 and Jena Roche
(Windmere, Fla.) finished with an 85.
