Mindy Mangels

In her sixth year at Wellesley, Mindy is the Associate Director of Athletics.  Specializing in the Compliance and Eligibility of the Blue’s 12 varsity sports, Mindy works closely with Wellesley’s varsity coaches in coordinating the scheduling of athletic contests and practices.  In addition, Mindy is PERA’s liaison to Friends of Wellesley College Athletics (FOWCA).  She is integrally involved in the operations of the Blue’s athletic conference, serving as the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) liaison for Field Hockey, the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC), and Compliance.

Prior to her current position, she spent her first year with Wellesley as the Assistant Director of Athletics where she handled team travel operations, supervised student-workers for the Blue's home events and hired all officials for home contests.

An avid sports fan from Nebraska, Mangels strongly supports the Nebraska Cornhuskers football and volleyball teams.  She also enjoys reading and snowboarding and spending time with her two nieces (Heidi and Kelsey) and her three nephews (Brandon, Jacob, and Matthew).
