Information about pre-participation exam

• Student-athletes must wear shorts and t-shirt
• Medical history is reviewed by sports medicine staff
• Muscle strength and flexibility, joint stability and range of motion, functional testing, and posture are assessed
• Exam is conducted in the athletic training room
• Usually takes 10-15 minutes, depending on medical history
