What is the Wish List?
The "Wish List" funding is one of the critical tasks carried
out by National Committee members of Friends of Wellesley College Athletics.
This wish list is a compilation of requests from coaches, physical education
instructors, administrators and athletes. Some items are critical, others
are "extras", but they are all items that would not have otherwise
been funded by the College.
The following is a list of items funded by Friends of Athletics over
the past fifteen years:
2007-08
Advanced video system and playback unit for classroom
Canopies and tables for outdoor PERA events
Sports Ware 208 injury tracking software
Digital camera for PERA department
Squash ball machine
Cardio and weight equipment for KSC ($25,000 gift in honor of FOWCA's 20th Anniversary)
Team’s supplement for training trips
Coach’s travel supplement for recruiting
2006-07
Volleyball scoreboard for the Multi-Purpose

Relay start pad and two starting blocks for
swimming
Goal cages and shooting nets for lacrosse
Tennis backboard for PE and varsity use
Two sets of oars for novice/dorm/class crew
