With head coach Becca Vaill on leave for the semester after welcoming a new addition to the family, assistant coach Lindsay Pardue will lead the Blue this season.
The Wellesley College Field Hockey team is on the middle of a wonderful season. We are 4-0 in NEWMAC’s and 9–5 overall. We just finished a week of two tough NEWMAC games one at MIT which was a 5-1 win. The other was at WPI, it was a hard fought battle to the very end, we ended up going into double overtime and strokes to come out with the victory and win 3-2! The season overall has been a tough one as far as numbers go, with 14 total players and only one goalie it leaves for very few substitutes. The Blue has come out strong in every game though and has been in great shape to handle the adversity of numbers. We are looking forward to two great matchups coming up in NEWMAC play, Springfield College on Saturday and Babson College on Tuesday to Battle it out for the top spot in NEWMAC.
Thank you for your support! Go Blue!

Last year the Field Hockey team graduated four seniors. We will kick off the 2009 season with 11 returners and are excited to add some talented first-years to the mix. The Seven Sisters Tournament is returning to our schedule, we will be traveling to Bryn Mawr for this Bi-Annual tradition. We have also added nationally-ranked Trinity College to our schedule, ensuring that we continue to compete against other quality collegiate competition.
We look forward to seeing you at our games! Go Blue!
