Wellesley Four Takes 15th at Head of the Charles

WELLESLEY, Mass. – The Wellesley College varsity four boat took 15th place at the 45th annual Head of the Charles Regatta this weekend on the Charles River.
Competing in the collegiate 4+ event, the Blue four consisted of junior coxswain Hannah Woodruff (Longmeadow, MA), first-year Patty Suquilanda (Greenwich, CT), sophomore Conisha Cooper (Glen Ridge, NJ), senior Laura Weir (Narberth, PA) and first-year Tess Ruderman (Brookline, MA).
The Blue's 15th place finish came in a time of 20:57.339 and bested 14 competitors in the 29-boat race.
Wellesley is back in action tomorrow when the varsity eight races at 1:30pm. The Blue will launch from the finish area launch site (FALS), just up river from Eliot Bridge.
