Wellesley Golf Opens Play at Dartmouth Invitational
Results
HANOVER, NH – The Wellesley College Golf team opened the 2009-10 season at the Dartmouth Invitational. The Blue made a strong showing on day one of the tournament, held on the par-72 course at the Hanover Country Club.
Junior Kim Eaton (Shepherdstown, WV) led the way for the Blue on day one, shooting a solid 79. Sophomore Alexis Kelleher (Worcester, MA) wasn't far behind, recording an 82 in the first round of play.
Also for Wellesley,
senior Soumya Srinagesh (Palo Alto, CA) shot a day-one 89, while newcomer Michelle Cho (La Crescenta, CA) recorded a first-round total of 92.
The tournament will wrap up tomorrow morning beginning at 8:00am.
