2008 Recap: Wellesley Lacrosse finished the 2008 season with an overall record of 10-8. In the NEWMAC playoffs, the Blue defeated Smith 13-7 behind eight points from Colette Whitaker and five goals from Briana Roberge. Wellesley also avenged a regular season loss to Springfield by defeating the Pride 10-7 in the NEWMAC semi-finals. The Blue ended the season in the NEWMAC Championship game where they fell to Babson. To close out the year, Wellesley earned four spots on the NEWMAC All-Conference team with Loretta White and Haley Geller being named to the first team and Dee Garrahan and Colette Whitaker earning second team honors.
