Wellesley Volleyball - MIT Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Wellesley College rebounded from a semi-final 3-0 loss to Tufts to defeat Williams College 3-2 (30-19, 22-30, 26-30, 30-19, 15-10) and snag a third place finish in the MIT Invitational. Junior libero Emily Peters (Temescal Valley, Calif.), who racked up 75 digs and 9 aces in four matches this weekend, was named to the All-Tournament Team.

For the second year in a row, MIT defeated Tufts University in the championship match of the MIT Women’s Volleyball Invitational on Saturday. The Engineers swept the Jumbos, 30-25, 30-18, 30-20, en route to their fifth tournament title.
