Coaches soccer, with a career record of 24-20-8 at Wellesley (2009 NEWMAC season champions); named 2009 NEWMAC Coach of the Year.
Prior to coming to Wellesley in 2007, Tony served as the assistant coach for the women’s soccer program at Carnegie Mellon University. During the 2004-2005 academic year, he was the head women’s coach at Vassar College after a one-year stint as the men's assistant. While at the helm of the women's program at Vassar, he led the Brewers to a 10-8-1 record, the program's first New York State Championship title, and an ECAC Championship appearance. That year the team was the third most improved in NCAA Division III.
Tony has taught various activity classes including cardiovascular fitness, strength training, and soccer skills. His courses are designed to ensure students make the mind and body connection by advancing, broadening, or enhancing knowledge as it relates to their well being.
Tony currently serves as the Director of Coerver Coaching New England. In this capacity I have led technical programs for clubs in eastern New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts. Coerver Coaching is the world's number one soccer skills teaching method.
