Facilities

The Department of Biological Sciences is housed in the Science Center where teaching and faculty research laboratories are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment.

Undergraduate students interested in pursuing thesis honors or those taking advanced biology courses have access to sophisticated microscopes such as the confocal and electronic microscope available in the department, mass spectrophotometers (MALDI-TOFF) and top of the line equipment for all advanced molecular biology techniques including our latest acquisition: an automated sequencer.
