Fellowships and scholarships provide an exciting opportunity for Wellesley College students and alumnae to explore and deepen their academic, personal and professional interests in the U.S. and abroad. Whether studying a foreign language, pursuing graduate study, teaching English overseas, conducting advanced laboratory research, completing a service project, traveling around the globe or designing and executing a research study, fellowships open doors to new ideas and experiences and challenge recipients as they become resilient, empathetic and creative leaders in the world. Most of all, fellowships serve as an investment in individuals with burning questions and big ideas.
  • Curious to see what kind of fellowship might be right for you? Check out the fellowship calendar and Handshake resources here to learn what awards are available and find the fellowship that fits you best. Alumnae and students can use their Wellesley login credentials to sign into Handshake to view available undergraduate and graduate fellowships.
  • We're here to help, whether you're exploring options, looking for application feedback, or have specific questions. Email fellowships@wellesley.edu or call Mary Beth Callery at 781.283.2347. Kate Dailinger would love to talk with you. After reviewing the resources and/or coming to an info session or workshop, Schedule an appointment to continue the conversation.
  • Start early! Students interested in applying for a fellowship should begin to plan weeks ahead of the deadline.
