Research

The Elmore Lab uses computational and experimental methods to investigate membrane proteins. Currently, we are primarily focused on:

1) Characterizing and designing antimicrobial peptides that cross cell membranes

2) Developing models of bacterial ligand gated ion channels (Collaboration with the Maurer Group at Washington University)
