Scheduling an On-Campus Recruiting Visit

The Center for Work and Service begins on May 1st to schedule company visits and presentations for the following academic year. We schedule these events continuously through April 30th. To schedule a visit or company presentation:
  • During September-May contact the Center for Work and Service at (781) 283-2452 or (781) 283-2381. You can also e-mail cws_hire@wellesley.edu.
  • During the summer months of June, July and August, we schedule visits for the academic year online. You may e-mail us at cws_hire@wellesley.edu.


On-Campus Recruiting Fee

  • Not-for-profit and government organizations- No Fee
  • For-profit companies - $150.00


Schedule Selection for Interviews

You may choose one of the following schedule options:
  1. PRESELECT SHEDULE. You can access online resumes and select candidates for your scheduled visit.
  2. RESUME DROP SCHEDULE. You can access online resumes and select candidates to interview at your headquarters.
  3. OPEN SCHEDULE. Students sign up for interviews on a first-come, first-serve basis.


Getting Technical Help With MyCWS

    Wellesley uses the CSO Research, Inc. system to administer all recruiting. If you are having difficulty with the system, send us an email at:cws_hire@wellesley.edu.


Facilities For Interviews and Presentations

All interviews are scheduled, approved, and conducted at the Center for Work and Service on the 4th Floor of Green Hall.

The following facilities are available for your company presentation. Please take time to view pictures or virtual tour of the facilities before scheduling your visit.

  3. Pendleton Classrooms or Lecture Halls


Ordering Media Equipment

  1. The Wellesley College Club. If your presentation is at the Club, you can order video equipment directly from the Club by emailing Susan Ahearn at sahearn@wellesley.edu.
  2. Wang Campus Center. If your presentation is at the Campus Center, you can order video equipment directly by emailing Sharon Breitbart at sbreitba@wellesley.edu.
  3. Pendleton Classrooms or Lecture Halls. If your presentation is in a Pendleton Classroom or Lecture Hall, email Bernice Tita at btita@wellesley.edu.


Catering For Company Presentations

  1. The Wellesley College Club. The Club provides all their own catering. For prices and menus go to: http://www.wellesley.edu/Collegeclub/menus.html or contact Susan Ahearn at (781) 283-2949 or sahearn@wellesley.edu.
  2. LuLu Chow Wang Campus Center. Acess a full range of menus at: http://www.wellesley.edu/DiningSvc/catering.html. For assistance in ordering call (781) 283-2875.
  3. Classrooms and lecture halls. Not all classrooms allow food, so please contact the CWS Recruiting Office (781) 283-2452 for confirmation.


Advertising Your Company Events

  • Partnering With the CWS
    We highly encourage recruiters to send the CWS an electronic flyer, which our recruiting staff can publicize in appropriate conferences within Wellesley's internal electronic email system. All such emails should be directed to cws_hire@wellesley.edu.
  • Reaching Out to Student Groups
    In addition to partnering with the CWS, and to further strengthen your presence on Wellesley's campus, it is important that you are able to reach out to students that have the knowledge, abilities, and skills you desire. Visit the Student Activities Web page for a complete list to help you target student clubs and organizations that can facilitate this process. Each group's individual home page will provide further contact information.
  • Campus Newspaper
    The Wellesley News is a student-run newspaper that is distributed every Friday. You can call The Wellesley News office at (781) 283-2689 or visit http://www.wellesley.edu/Newspaper/advertising.html for rates and deadlines.

Other CWS Policies

  • Cancelled and Late Interview Schedules
    Please notify the CWS recruiting staff immediately if your organization/company needs to cancel any interview schedules. For interviews that are cancelled within five business days of the interview date, we request that employers contact the students directly.
  • Students' No Show Policy
    The Center for Work and Service takes it very seriously when students do not show up for a scheduled interview without providing the CWS at least 24 hours notice. Students are asked to sign our Five Rule Contract prior to participating in recruiting, and individuals who violate it are immediately ineligible to participate in our on-campus recruiting program. In order to regain their status, they must meet with Irma Tryon, Director of Recruiting.
  • Alcohol Policy for Recruiting Events
    We ask all companies to abide by the NACE alcohol policy.
  • Inclement Weather Policy
    If the college closes due to inclement weather, it will be announced on the following stations: WBUR (90.9FM), WCRB (102.5FM), WBZ (1030 AM), WRKO (680AM), and TV Channels 4, 5 and 7. Companies can access their schedule online. Feel free to contact students for telephone interviews. If you have to cancel your interviews, the CWS will gladly reschedule your visit.


Coming to Campus
