How to Use the Career Library
For Books:
Search the Wellesley College Online Catalog; Use the advanced keyword search and specify location=CWS Library to locate CWS Library books and periodicals;
In the CWS library, books are grouped by topic and shelved in Library of Congress order. If you have difficulty finding a book, it could be held on reserve behind the Peer Resource Advisor (PRA) desk in the library. Consult the CWS Library Holdings blog, to aid in locating the item in question in the library.

A Note on Color Coding in the CWS Library: Resources are color coded to aid in locating resources within the Library of Congress system as follows:
- Yellow: Education
- Red: Health Fields
- Light Blue: General
- Green: Law, Government, International
- Dark Blue: Science
- Orange: Communications and Public Affairs
- Purple: Arts
- Brown: Business and Economics
- Chartreuse: Not-for-Profit/Public Service
