Welcome to the Center for Work and Service Web site.
Within these pages we have described the extensive career resources available to your daughter throughout her four years and beyond: from internships and community service programs in her early Wellesley years to her later decisions about employment or graduate school.
WELLESLEY COLLEGE PARENT CAREER NETWORK
The Center for Work and Service (CWS) invites parents/guardians to join the Wellesley College Parent Career Network. This group is a collaboration between Wellesley's Parent & Family Programs Office and the Center for Work and Service (CWS). This is a space for parents of current or graduated Wellesley College students to inform Wellesley of job or internship opportunities, to share professional resources and to establish a direct connection with Wellesley's CWS.
Although your daughter will spend 4 years at Wellesley, her membership in the Wellesley network is lifelong. Parents can help extend this network by:
Helping identify opportunities for our students
*Post available jobs and internships.
*Connect Wellesley with hiring managers in your company.
Serving as a resource for our students
*Participate in industry-specific mock interviews by phone
*Share industry specific resources with the Wellesley community. This includes websites, books, affiliations and blogs that will help students as they explore careers in your field.
