Non Ministrari sed Ministrare:
Not to be ministered unto, but to minister.
Wellesley takes its motto seriously, and the Center for Work and Service underscores that commitment by providing students with the opportunities and support to serve others.
Wellesley Serves! connects students and alumnae to community institutions so that they can Be The Difference. Through the CWS, Wellesley students build houses for Habitat for Humanity, volunteer with Girl Scouts, and act as role models for young people in the greater-Boston area. The CWS also connects students with Wellesley College funding in support of their own service projects.
Together, these efforts create a vibrant campus environment that fosters community, embraces diversity, and cultivates global citizenship.
Here's how to get involved:
Not sure where to begin? We can connect you with an existing project or help you start your own.
Wellesley Service Groups
Join one of our established service projects: mentor an at-risk youth, tutor a struggling student, or participate in a Habitat for Humanity build.
Worried about transportation? The CWS can help you get there.
