Graduate Fellowships Requiring Campus Review


American Graduate Fellowships


Applicants for an American Graduate Fellowship must go through the Wellesley College screening process in order to be nominated. It is important to discuss your plans with Ellie Perkins, Director of Fellowship and Preprofessional Programs, before proceeding with your application. Please contact Mary Beth Callery (ext. 2347, mcallery@wellesley.edu) for an appointment to speak with Ellie Perkins.

Preliminary application material includes:
  1. Completed American Graduate Fellowships Cover Sheet
  2. American Graduate Fellowships Application Form
  3. Personal Statement
  4. Descriptive Book Review
  5. Two letters of recommendation
  6. Grade report or unofficial copy of a transcript

Please note: You must submit GRE scores with your application.

A Wellesley College faculty committee will determine college nominees, whose final applications will be sent to the Council of Independent Colleges by the October 15, 2008, deadline.
