Graduate Fellowships Requiring Campus Review
Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship
This scholarship will fund tuition, fees, and living expenses for up to six years of graduate study beginning in the fall of 2008. It is open to seniors or recent graduates of all nationalities who have a high level of academic achievement, critical thinking ability, unmet financial need, the will to succeed, demonstrated leadership and public service, as well as appreciation for and/or participation in the arts and humanities. Scholars may use the award to attend any accredited graduate school in the U.S. or abroad to pursue any graduate or professional degree. Awards will be based on merit and financial need and require college nomination.
Candidates for a Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship must go through the Wellesley College screening process. This entails submission of:
- Completed Jack Kent Cooke Cover Sheet
- Nominee Application Form
- Financial Information Form with supporting paperwork
- Resume
- Copy of acceptance letter from graduate school (when available)
- Two letters of reference
- Copy of Wellesley College transcript or grade report (not Web version)

A campus committee will nominate two students whose final applications will be sent to the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation by their March 14, 2008 deadline.
