CWS Identified Internships and Stipends Program Handbook

CWS Internship Contracts and Handbook
Congratulations on being awarded a Wellesley College stipend or identified internship to undertake an internship this summer. Below are the links to the internship contracts and on-line handbook which is designed to help you achieve a great learning experience while giving back to your host organization.

Checks will be available the first week of May. At the end of April, you will be emailed a schedule of the times during which you may pick up your check. Checks will only be given out at these times. If you will not be on campus after the last day of final exam period in May, please indicate on your contract where you would like to have your check sent.

While we know you will have a wonderful experience, there is always the chance that you may need to reach out to Wellesley for guidance and support during the summer. Do not hesitate to contact any of us during the summer for assistance with any issue, whether it is work related or personal. We are here to help make your internship experience the best it can be. We wish you all the best for a successful summer.

Participation in the Tanner Conference
We strongly encourage students to participate in the Tanner Conference, a one-day conference that celebrates the incorporation of students' off-campus learning experiences into their education. The conference provides a venue for students to reflect critically upon, analyze, and share their off-campus experiences with others in the college community through panel presentations, round tables, and information sessions. The Tanner Conference was established through the generosity of Wellesley trustee Estelle "Nicki" Newman Tanner '57.

Students need to apply by beginning of September. More information is available on-line at http://www.wellesley.edu/CWS/Tanner/.
