Study Abroad and Recruiting

Students in the past have participated in recruiting successfully from abroad. We encourage all students to pursue their academic plans and study abroad aspirations, regardless of potential conflicts with recruiting.

The recruiting timeline for juniors can be divided up into the fall and spring semesters:

Abroad Fall Semester          Abroad Spring Semester
  • Able to submit resume and cover letter via MyCWS for recruiting opportunities
  • Able to interview spring semester
  • Unable to attend fall semester on-campus company information sessions for junior internships
  • Able to attend fall semester on-campus company information sessions for junior internships
  • Able to submit resume and cover letter via MyCWS for recruiting opportunities
  • Unable to interview spring semester (unless via phone-companies' policy will vary)

Additionally, it may be useful to go through a recruiting process where you are studying if you are interested in potentially staying on for an internship. We suggest you get in touch with the contact person in the descriptions of posted jobs or internships.
