Guidelines for Students Participating in Recruiting

In keeping with Wellesley's Honor Code, the Center for Work and Service assumes that all students will conduct themselves with integrity in every aspect of their internship and job searches. Participation in this program is a privilege for both employers and students and can be revoked if the following guidelines are not adhered to.
  1. Students must sign a contract before interviewing with any company participating in the on-campus recruiting program, agreeing to the "Five Rule Contract". The contract is available in the student profile on MyCWS.
  2. Students must provide accurate information to all companies and organizations.
  3. Students must adhere to schedules. Students must cancel or reschedule interviews with recruiters at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  4. When accepting an offer of employment or internship in good faith, the student must notify employers on a timely basis of an acceptance, and withdraw from the recruiting process after accepting an offer.
  5. Interview only with employers with whom you have a genuine interest.
  6. Request reimbursement only for reasonable and legitimate expenses incurred in the recruiting process.
