Center for Work and Service Community Service Award
Student/ Faculty/ Staff/ Union Nomination Application

The Center for Work and Service is accepting nominations for the Community Service Award, given annually in recognition of the volunteer and community service contributions made by members of the Wellesley College community.

• Nominate someone you know who has been actively involved in service. You may nominate more than one person.


• One award will be given in each of the following categories: faculty, staff, and union employees. Up to two awards will be given to students.


• In addition to the application, please include one letter of recommendation from the agency supporting the volunteer efforts of the applicant.

Applications are due at the Center for Work and Service, Green Hall 441, on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 4 p.m. Award recipients will be notified by Friday, April 18. The Community Service Award will be given at the Celebration of Service and Leadership which will be held in May at the Wellesley College Club.
