Fellowships and Scholarships

The Fellowships section of the CWS Web site contains detailed information on fellowships and scholarships that could be used to pursue a career in the public sector. Deadlines for fellowship applications vary, but many are very early in September, immediately after students return to campus. Be aware of the deadlines in order to remain eligible to apply. The best way to obtain this information is to visit the CWS Library or the Fellowships section mentioned above.

Many fellowships were created with the mission of developing future public leaders. By providing varied study experiences, the founders of these fellowships hoped to develop an exchange of people and ideas that would foster cross-cultural understandings that would eventually inform careers in public service. The following is a brief listing of undergraduate and graduate fellowships that could be applicable to developing a career in the public sector.
