The Wellesley Engineering Laboratory (We-Lab) encourages all students at Wellesley College to explore engineering. (See the Class Dean's page Engineering in Liberal Arts for help on exactly how to do so).

Just as an effective engineer requires outstanding communication skills, a liberal arts major can be far more influential in their discipline if they understand the technical aspects of worldwide challenges such as energy, hunger, and medicine. We-Lab gives all students at the college the opportunity to develop engineering habits of mind and to understand the role technology has to play in improving our world. We-Lab emphasizes engineering as a humanitarian endeavor, addressing needs of under-served populations internationally and locally.

Whether you want to broaden your education with a single engineering class, take an engineering class through cross-registration at Olin College or MIT, participate in engineering research, or more, We-Lab is here to provide engineering insight, literacy, support, and advice.
