Jobs & Internships

The ES Department is happy to help you navigate through the often daunting job and internship search process.

Whether you're looking for your first post-graduation job, or a unique summer internship opportunity, we have many resources available to help direct your search. The ES Department maintains a comprehensive list of environmental organizations, categorized by theme, with links to job and internship opportunities across the globe. This is a work in progress, so visit the google doc often for updated links and opportunities.

The ES Department also distributes a weekly newsletter and job blog, which contain job listings, on and off-campus events, and ES-related news on campus. In addition, the ES Program Coordinator has started a "Senior Support Group" where seniors can discuss post-graduation options, figure out the resources available at the college (and beyond) and bond over shared anxieties. This has inspired the ES Department to start building it's very own ES Job and Internship Resource Library! Visit the ES Program Coordinator's office in Pendleton Hall Room 227 to check out our selection of books.

Career Education compiles job and internship search resources through the Handshake Network, with links to general job search sites and links organized by career field. They also offer assistance with resumes, cover letters, and interviewing, and can even provide funding for some internships.

Wellesley College has a unique job hunting resource in the Wellesley Alumnae Network. This online community lets you search for alumnae to connect with using key fields like location, organization, or job type. If you know a specic place you'd like to work or intern with, this is an excellent way for you to start networking and get your foot in the door.
